If you have Gentoo, you set the amr USE flag. Otherwise, some quick Googling show the you download from 3gpp.org to get the code and patch ffmpeg accordingly. I found that I really didn't like the quality the MP$Gox; thus, I went on my tirade attempting to do it better. I don't have my myth setup anymore so I probably won't go down the path. I was using their PHP file for a few to test out the Darwin Streaming Server(until I found it's really annoying with PHP5). There are other issue with the DSS and Gentoo I'm not really willing to go into.
